Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three current buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition,



currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). This new building will be located just north of Dundas on Church Street and will be home to four academic health services programs, Toronto Met. University food services, administration, and a student residence.

Qualifications

Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Enrolled in: 1st year Masters, 2nd year Masters or PhD
Greater preference will be accorded first to Doctoral candidates, then Master's candidates.

Exceptional 4th. Year BCOMM students at TRSM may also be considered.

Relevant Experience:

Must have completed an Intermediate Management Accounting course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or
above. Proof of taking the course is preferred (e.g. university transcript).
Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at a University (if applicable).
Passed Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) exam or be in PEP program is an asset. Or having the knowledge acquired by taking the designation.

Two positions marking: one at 120 hours and one at 150 hours.

Salary & Compensation

September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026

Master - $51.17 per hour

September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027

Master's - $52.45 per hour
