About the Position

Papaji Foods is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined and customer-focused Vending Machine Service Technician & Delivery Associate to join our team in Mississauga.

This is a hands-on, field-based position involving the installation, servicing, repair and preventative maintenance of our commercial premix beverage machines at customer locations throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

Our machines are installed at restaurants, convenience stores, offices and other commercial locations.

In addition to machine servicing, the position includes making scheduled product deliveries, maintaining spare parts and inventory, and providing customers with training on the proper operation and care of their equipment.

A company delivery/service van and fuel are provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Travel to customer locations to install, inspect, service and repair commercial premix beverage machines
- Diagnose machine problems and perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs
- Replace components such as heating elements, pumps, switches, tubing and other serviceable parts as required
- Remove, clean, service and reinstall mixing bowls and beverage-contact components
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Test machines after servicing to ensure they are operating correctly
- Install new machines at customer locations
- Set up and calibrate machines for proper beverage dispensing
- Educate customers and their employees on proper machine operation, cleaning and basic maintenance
- Respond professionally to customer service and machine-related concerns
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance and parts used
- Deliver products and supplies to customers as required, including tea premixes, sauces,



seasonings, cups and other foodservice products
- Load and unload products from the company vehicle
- Safely lift and handle boxes weighing approximately 50 lbs
- Maintain and organize the company's spare-parts and service area
- Monitor commonly used spare parts and report items that need to be reordered
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organized
- Maintain the company service/delivery van in a clean and professional condition
- Perform other related service, warehouse and delivery duties as required

Travel

The position is based in Mississauga, with regular travel throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Occasional longer-distance service or delivery trips may be required to locations such as:

- Niagara Region
- Kitchener-Waterloo
- London
- Windsor
- Other locations within Ontario as required

A company vehicle is provided and all work-related fuel expenses are covered by the company.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a company cargo/service van
- Mechanically inclined with good troubleshooting abilities
- Comfortable using common hand tools
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to approximately 50 lbs
- Comfortable travelling to different customer locations throughout the workday
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while travelling between service calls
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers
- Good verbal communication skills
- Reliable,



punctual and responsible
- Willingness to keep service equipment, spare parts, work areas and company vehicle clean and organized

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is an asset but not necessarily required:

- Vending machine repair or servicing
- Coffee or beverage equipment
- Commercial kitchen equipment
- Small appliance repair
- Electrical or mechanical maintenance
- Equipment installation
- Field service
- Delivery driving
- Foodservice equipment

Training on our specific beverage machines and equipment will be provided.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems and being on the road rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work. When a customer has a machine problem, you should be comfortable identifying the issue, completing the repair, testing the machine and making sure the customer understands how to operate it correctly before leaving the location.

Because you will represent Papaji Foods at customer locations, professionalism, cleanliness and good customer service are just as important as technical ability.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
