Sunshine ABA Services is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Instructor Therapist to work with clients in Toronto.

We are looking for an ABA therapist to provide 1:1 support to a high school student, focusing on improving conversational and social communication skills, building independence with homework completion, and developing executive functioning and organizational skills.

Therapists must be available to work afternoons between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., for a total of 10–15 hours per week.

There are opportunities to take on more hours and clients in the same region or others to fill up your caseload if you wish.

Sunshine ABA Services delivers ABA therapy to children who possess a wide range of cognitive and developmental needs. Therapists will be delivering ABA/ IBI therapy based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) one on one in a home-based setting and reporting directly to the senior therapist or clinical director in charge of programming. Opportunities to work at our collaborating clinic and acquire supervision hours are available as well as opportunities for growth in the field.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Instructor Therapists to join our team! We provide ABA therapy, school-readiness, life skills, parent coaching, assessments and consultations to children in the comfort of their home.

ABA therapy includes delivering programming relating to communication, compliance, motor skills, executive functioning,



implementing behaviour protocols, keeping sensory needs in mind, teaching daily life skills such as toileting, eating, dressing plus much more

Qualifications:

1) Diploma or degree in Autism and behavioural sciences or a related field

2) Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instructor Therapist working in-home or in centre.

3) Knowledge of ABA and Child Development.

4) Experience working with young/school aged children with various special needs.

5) Exceptional interpersonal skills and written ability

6) Access to a reliable mode of transportation

7) Fluent in English

8) Can provide a commitment of one year and can begin as soon as possible.

9) Experience working with challenging behaviours

Those who are hired are required to complete RBT courses within 1 month of starting and a training with our lead therapist. Please have a police check completed within the last year.
