Responsibilities

- Assist customers with mailing services, including package drop-offs, postage purchases, and product inquiries
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Conduct product demonstrations of postal services and related merchandise to enhance customer understanding
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems with precision
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to promote postal products and services effectively
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and upselling additional services
- Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person, ensuring explicit and friendly interactions




- Support time management by efficiently prioritizing tasks during busy periods

Experience

- Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in a technical or product-focused environment
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse communities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately
- Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering procedures is advantageous
- Experience in technical sales or product demos can be beneficial for promoting postal products effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations
