Job Description: Quality Control (QA) Specialist

Position Overview:The Quality Control (QC) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products meet the company’s quality standards prior to delivery to customers. This role involves evaluating product samples, identifying defects, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues. The QC Specialist ensures that final products comply with the requirements of major North American retailers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining brand reputation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Inspection and Testing:

- Conduct thorough inspections of product samples as needed to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
- Perform functional, visual, and physical evaluation.
- Send comments to customers, internal team and suppliers

Inspection and Testing Include but Are Not Limited To:

ü New Production Process:Understand customer requirements, review test protocols, review pre-testing reports, verify samples before sending them to the lab, provide all the document and submit them to the lab, and maintain communication with suppliers, labs, and customers throughout the entire new production process until completion.

ü Annual Testing:
Verify and approve samples before lab submission; review pre-testing reports, provide all the document and submit them to the lab.

ü Product Development Support:
Participate in the product development process by verifying samples and providing relevant feedback.

ü Other Testing and Inspections:Conduct any additional testing or inspection activities as required.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality issues.





o Generate and share detailed reports on product quality with team members.

3. Supplier and Vendor Collaboration:

o Communicate quality concerns to suppliers and team members and follow up on corrective actions.

o Follow up with suppliers on periodic testing

o Update records of testing status

o Apply for testing using laboratories and customers communication platform

4. Environmental and Sustainability

o Assist with the maintenance of company environmental and sustainability-related certifications as needed, such as OEKO-TEX®, RCS certificates, transaction certificates, and eco-records, etc.

o Participate in all activities related to certification processes.

5. Training:

o Attend online and in person trainings by customers and labs

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience).

o Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.

o Strong proficiency in Microsoft software suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and others.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.

o Knowledge of color standards with a strong ability to discern and evaluate colors accurately.

o Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
