We are looking for a creative, organized, and hands-on Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator to support our school’s marketing, events, community outreach, and digital content.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school environment, creating engaging content, organizing events, and connecting with students, parents, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Community Outreach
· Coordinate and participate in school events, community events, education fairs, workshops, and seminars.
· Identify local community outreach opportunities to increase school awareness.
· Build relationships with community organizations and education partners.
· Support event promotion and follow-up.
Open Houses & Presentations
· Help organize and host Open Houses, Information Sessions, parent seminars, and other school events.
· Prepare presentations and promotional materials.
· Confidently introduce school programs and services to prospective students and parents.
· Support school tours and recruitment activities when needed.
Marketing Materials
· Create and update flyers, brochures, posters, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
· Work with printing vendors when materials need to be produced.
· Maintain consistent school branding across marketing materials.
Social Media & Digital Content
· Create and post content for the school’s social media platforms.
· Develop content featuring school life, events, student achievements, programs, and educational information.
· Help maintain a regular social media content calendar.
· Monitor engagement and identify content that performs well.
Photography, Video & Student Stories
· Take photos and videos of school activities, classrooms, events, and student projects.
· Conduct short interviews with students, teachers, and alumni.
· Create simple short-form videos and social media content.
· Organize the school’s photo, video, and marketing content library.
Website & Newsletter Content
· Prepare and update website content, including school news, program information, photos, and student stories.
· Work with the IT/web team on website updates and improvements.
· Assist with school newsletters and other parent communications.
Recruitment Support
· Support Open Houses, school tours, information sessions, and other recruitment-related activities.
· Assist with communication and follow-up with prospective families when needed.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree preferred.
· 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, events, or a related field preferred.
· Experience in education or a school environment is an asset, but not required.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Comfortable speaking and presenting to parents and students.
· Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, or similar design tools.
· Basic photography and video creation/editing skills.
· Familiarity with major social media platforms.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
· Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position.
Some weekend work will be required for Open Houses, community events, education fairs, and other school activities.
Example schedules may include Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $4,500.00-$5,000.00 per month
