This position is based on-site at our Edmonton dealership.

Big West Ford is currently seeking an experienced Ford Certified Diesel Technician to join our Service Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong Ford diesel experience who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and efficient workmanship. With a steady volume of work, a strong Ford customer base, and ongoing manufacturer training, this role offers excellent long-term career and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford diesel, light-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles
- Perform diesel engine repairs, drivability diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, and general service work
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Review repair orders and clearly document all work performed
- Identify additional service or safety concerns and communicate findings as required
- Follow Ford manufacturer repair procedures and dealership processes
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with Service Advisors and other team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in ongoing Ford training and development programs

Qualifications





- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification required
- Strong Ford diesel repair and diagnostic experience
- Experience working with diesel, light-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's licence and safe driving record
- Ford training or manufacturer certifications are considered an asset
- Previous Ford dealership experience is considered an asset
