Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport auto parts to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload heavy automotive parts using proper lifting techniques
- Verify delivery orders against shipments to ensure accuracy before departure and upon arrival
- Communicate clearly with parts counter, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain a clean driving record
- Assist in warehouse activities including moving inventory within the facility and preparing orders for shipment
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions about deliveries, and ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods and move large or bulky items efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Prior experience in moving goods or working in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse protocols
