Busy Bee Tools is hiring a hands-on Repair Technician / Salesperson for its new Coquitlam (Vancouver) store. This is a mixed workshop and customer-facing role: assemble and troubleshoot machinery, document service work, and help customers understand tools and parts. The share of time spent on repairs and sales will vary with customer demand.

**What you will do**

- Assemble, inspect and test woodworking and metalworking machines and accessories using manuals, diagrams and safe procedures.
- Diagnose common mechanical faults and basic electrical issues within your training and authorization; identify parts, document findings and complete approved repairs or coordinate escalation when a job needs a specialist.
- Keep repair intake, estimates, parts use, warranty information and customer updates organized and accurate.
- Help load/load shipments and fulfill ecommerce and pick up orders
- Explain product features and maintenance to customers, help with sales and demonstrations when trained, and maintain a safe, orderly work area.

**What you bring**

- Approximately two or more years of hands-on equipment assembly, tool repair,



machinery maintenance or a similar technical role; comparable experience will be considered.
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability and familiarity with motors, switches, belts, bearings and basic electrical diagnostics. Formal electrical or mechanical training is an asset. Work requiring a licensed trade or other authorization will be referred to qualified personnel.
- Comfort explaining problems to customers, following manufacturer instructions and recording what was done.
- Experience with woodworking or metalworking machinery and forklift certification are assets.

**Schedule :** Five scheduled days per week with two rostered days off. Weekend availability, including Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled, is required. Planned store hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
