Overview

Must live in Lac La Biche or the surounding area - camp is NOT included.
We are seeking vigilant and responsible Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive monitoring and enforcement of safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of integrity, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Surveillance, or loss prevention is a plus. These positions offers full-time and part- time employment with comprehensive training to support your success in the role.

Duties

- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies, including alarms and alarms systems
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed




- Conduct loss prevention activities by observing customer behavior and intervening when necessary
- Perform security checks on equipment, entrances, exits, and other critical points

Skills

Only Apply If you have an Alberta Security Licence

- Experience with surveillance systems such as CCTV for monitoring premises effectively
- Ability to perform loss prevention duties with keen attention to detail
- Excellent observational skills to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
- Valuable communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly during emergencies
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and stand for extended periods

Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
