Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Parcel Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering parcels to customers across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess solid communication skills, physical stamina, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload parcels using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses within scheduled timeframes, maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, delays, or issues, providing exceptional service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Assist in warehouse operations by moving parcels within storage areas using forklifts or manual handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.




- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in commercial driving or logistics roles, with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and handle physically demanding tasks safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding parcel handling procedures.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety standards, and best practices in delivery operations.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in previous roles.
