Pivotal Staffing Solutions is looking for a dependable Warehouse Material Handler to join a busy facility in Hamilton. This position involves handling, organizing, storing, and moving boxes and materials, including confidential records. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, lift, and move boxes weighing approximately 12–50 lbs.
- Organize boxes and materials on warehouse shelves.
- Move and rearrange records and materials as needed.
- Assist with shredding, sorting, and disposal activities.
- Handle confidential records with care and attention to detail.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow proper lifting, material-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete general labour and warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or general labour experience is an asset.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and extended periods of standing.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Secondary school education is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is an asset.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Hamilton, ON.
