Rkay Electrical has been in operation since 2011 and works in homes of all sizes and styles for some of Edmonton and surrounding areas premier home builders. We are hiring for the position of Warehouse Assistant

Pay and Hours:

$18.00 per hour from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm Mondays to Fridays. Hours may expand as needed / as your experience grows.

Requirements:

A successful applicant should be reliable, punctual and self-motivated, as well as a good listener that accepts feedback and criticism well.

- Smart Phone capable of utilizing Google Drive, Calendar and Sheets as those programs are what runs the company and our time sheet app.
- Be in good enough shape to climb stairs, lift rolls of wire and boxes of material and be walking around on your feet throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

- Open the Warehouse in the morning.
- Assist the field crews in picking up and packing their materials, as well as unloading and organizing their previous materials and paperworks.
- Debriefing with supervisor(s) about the returned paperwork and jobs from the previous day.
- Re-stocking the returned material.




- Packing the job materials for the field crews for the following day.
- Receiving ordered deliveries and putting them away.
- Organizing, maintaining and cleaning the warehouse and it's facilities.
- Removing debris, garbage and recycling from the warehouse.
- Clerical tasks involving the warehouse, such as data entry for materials in and out.
- Picking up material from suppliers, attending supplier events or other off-site requirements. *If a company vehicle is not available and your personal vehicle is used, we will re-imburse you at a rate of $0.15 / km driven for work related reasons.
- Assisting supervisor(s) with other tasks around the building or involving other related business ventures.
