Role: Quality Assurance Lead (SAP S/4HANA)
Location: Regional hub aligned to Montreal/North America time zone coverage.
Contract duration:12-month contract with possibility to extend.
Must be bilingual (French & English). Additionally fluent in Spanish would be advantageous.

SAP S/4HANA quality assurance, test governance, readiness controls and gate challenge

Position purpose

Provide independent SAP S/4HANA quality assurance oversight of test governance and readiness, ensuring formal phase entry and exit decisions are supported by consistent controls, validated evidence and transparent reporting. The role challenges readiness claims, identifies quality gaps and helps ensure compliant, high-quality testing outcomes across regional teams.

Core accountabilities

- Maintain and apply the regional testing governance framework, readiness standards and quality controls in line with programme expectations.
- Govern formal regional test phase readiness and evidence for SIT, UAT-aligned assurance activities, SIT2, cutover rehearsal and hypercare gates.
- Provide independent oversight of regional test execution health, identifying and escalating risks, issues, quality gaps and control weaknesses.




- Ensure teams consolidate, validate and retain test artefacts and readiness evidence required to meet quality gates.
- Oversee regional defect management practices, including logging discipline, traceability, reporting quality, ageing, prioritisation and escalation.
- Review and interpret System Integrator testing and defect reports, highlighting trends, risks and evidence gaps for leadership decision-making.

Skills and experience

Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA test governance frameworks, QA standards, controls and formal quality gate management.
Experience supporting or coordinating test governance in complex delivery environments with several teams, phases or workstreams.
Experience providing independent oversight across testing teams while constructively challenging delivery confidence.
Strong understanding of defect management, testing metrics, traceability and evidence standards.

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
