Dentistry on Dundas is currently looking to hire a Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our busy and well-established practice. Responsibilities:

- Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation
- Establish solid patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
- Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
- Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements




- Proficiency in dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and understanding dental terminology.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry and medical terminology related to dental care.
- Ability to operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners, medical imaging devices, and other diagnostic tools efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a clinical environment.
- Prior experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry clinics is highly desirable

About You:

- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association
- Certified with the National Dental Assistant Examining Board (N.D.A.E.B) is required
- HARP certified
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Tracker experience an asset but will train
