Forklift Operator (Electric Counterbalance) - $24/hr

Continental Days: 7AM - 7PM

OR

Continental Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

About the Role

Kelly is currently recruiting experienced Electric Counterbalance Forklift Operators for a leading packaging manufacturer in Brantford. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with recent experience operating electric forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment and looking for long-term career growth.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working on 12-hour continental schedules, performing inventory transactions, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

What You'll Do

- Operate an electric counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Complete accurate cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Pick, stage, and load outbound shipments
- Unload inbound deliveries and verify product accuracy
- Wrap finished goods and scan products into warehouse locations
- Operate warehouse scanning equipment and RF scanners
- Inspect trailers prior to loading and complete required documentation
- Monitor warehouse equipment and report issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations

Qualifications

Required:

- Valid external forklift certification




- Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating an electric counterbalance forklift
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Comfortable working 12-hour continental shifts
- Experience using RF scanners or scanner guns
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis

Preferred:

- Experience operating Hyster electric forklifts
- Experience with JDE (JD Edwards)
- Experience in manufacturing or packaging environments
