We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator (Shipping & Receiving) to work within a busy Shipping & Receiving department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

- Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Unload inbound trailers and inspect incoming products
- Stage products for put-away
- Load outbound trailers and secure loads for shipment, including shrink wrapping pallets
- Verify inbound and outbound shipping paperwork
- Pick orders using an Order Picker when required
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control
- Complete required shipping and receiving documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized and debris-free Shipping & Receiving area
- Support the effective flow of inbound and outbound deliveries
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions

Requirements

- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent,



hands-on Counterbalance operating experience
- Previous Shipping & Receiving experience
- Computer experience within a Shipping & Receiving environment
- RF scanning experience considered an asset
- Order picking experience considered an asset
- Inventory experience considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Payrate: $21/hr.

Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
