Once Upon A Time Therapy in Chatham-Kent, ON is growing! We are starting to build a thoughtful team of skilled therapists who want to do meaningful clinical work without the administrative overhead or financial stress of running a solo practice. We are seeking a compassionate, autonomous Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join us as a Clinical Associate. In this role, you will provide independent counselling and psychotherapy services to your choice of populations (children aged 8+, teens, adults, or couples) for individual or relationship-focused sessions. Shifts are part-time with flexible weekday shifts. While our current practice model uniquely blends narrative and creative therapy approaches, we warmly welcome RSWs specializing in a diverse range of other evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, EFT, and more). This is a fee-for-service Independent Contractor (RSW) role. Hours are flexible and scale strictly as number of clients increase (approximately 0-12 hours per week); please note there may be zero clients or hours during the first few weeks of onboarding.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality, autonomous psychotherapy and counselling sessions utilizing evidence-informed techniques tailored to individual client needs.
- Manage independent clinical documentation, treatment planning,



and secure charting within JaneApp in alignment with OCSWSSW requirements.
- Uphold strict data protection and client confidentiality standards in absolute compliance with PHIPA and ethical regulations.
- Maintain active independent professional Registration with the OCSWSSW, a clean vulnerable sector check, and personal professional liability insurance.

Requirements

- Valid Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as a Registered Social Worker (RSW).
- BSW (required); Masters degree (preferred).
- Professional liability insurance.
- Proven therapeutic experience providing clinical counselling or psychotherapy to individuals, children, youth, and/or couples.
- A robust working knowledge of PHIPA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to safely engage and build rapport with clients.
- Comfortable working with electronic health records (JaneApp preferred) and secure email workflows (Gmail).
- In-person availability in Chatham is required for this role.
- Available for at least one weekday shift (4 hours) per week.

Pay: From $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 0.1 – 12.0 per week
