Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated General Labourer to join our team, with a primary focus on site preparation and specialized rug care. Key responsibilities include performing deep industrial rug washing, maintaining worksite cleanliness by removing waste, operating basic hand tools, and strictly adhering to all safety protocols under supervisor guidance. Ideal candidates are physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods, possess a solid work ethic, and are eager to learn new skills in an industrial setting. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.

Duties

- Assist with site preparation by cleaning the rugs, deep industrial washing
- Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by removing waste and ensuring safety standards are met
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision, adhering to safety protocols
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
- Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify hazards or issues needing attentionQualifications




- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills to follow directions clearly and work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction or industrial environments
- Prior experience in manual labour roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
