True North Labour is seeking skilled, reliable, and safety-driven Journeyman Electricians for an industrial project in Edmonton, AB. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in their work and can perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting duties with minimal supervision.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, technically capable, and confident working in fast-paced industrial site environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Perform electrical installation and wiring for conveyor belt systems and related equipment
- Install and connect conveyor motors, sensors, switches, control devices, and electrical components
- Install and terminate conduit, cable tray, cables, and wiring associated with conveyor systems
- Connect and wire electrical panels, motor starters, control panels, and other conveyor-related equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and installation plans
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of conveyor systems
- Work closely with millwrights to coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and startup
- Ensure all electrical installations are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements
- Support day-to-day site operations to ensure conveyor installation schedules are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and work effectively with the site team

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum of Journeyman Electrician status or equivalent recognized electrical trade qualifications
- Direct experience with industrial electrical installation, equipment wiring, and troubleshooting
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safe work practices




- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on site
- Proven ability to execute jobs safely and follow on-site safety standards without direct supervision

Mandatory Requirements:

- WHMIS 2015 certification
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
- Valid Journeyman Electrician certification recognized in Alberta
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Mandatory PPE (Hard hat, Hi-visibility safety vest, Steel-toe boots)

Shift Schedule:

Multiple shifts are available:

- Day Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Evening Shift: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
- Graveyard Shift: 12:00 am - 8:00 am
- Monday-Sunday - Full/Part-time shifts available (for approx. 6 weeks)
