Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN

Nurse at 91 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Starting pay: $35.81 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On-call hours will be discussed during the interview.
Vacation: Three weeks

Roles and responsibilities

- Collect urine and oral fluid samples for workplace drug testing and complete chain-of-custody documentation
- Perform audiometry, spirometry, blood collection, and ECGs
- Conduct or assist with medical assessments within the LPN’s authorized scope and Resultz procedures
- Explain procedures to clients and answer questions about the testing process
- Maintain confidential records and prepare specimens for laboratory shipment
- Check equipment and supplies and document testing issues





Training for occupational testing services will be provided by the employer.

Qualifications

- Current authorization to practise as an LPN in Nova Scotia
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Experience in occupational health or the listed services is an asset
