Customer Service Representative (French/English)

About the role

GE Appliances Canada, a Mabe company, is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team.

Our Customer Service team provides professional, courteous, responsive and accurate service to customers across Canada. In this role, you will support customers remotely while using multiple systems and tools to resolve inquiries efficiently and provide a positive customer experience.

What you’ll do

- Receive inbound calls from customers across Canada.
- Handle customer inquiries effectively and efficiently.
- Support customers with product warranty inquiries and service requests, depending on the position.
- Complete transactions in real time while working simultaneously across multiple software applications.
- Follow up on commitments in a timely manner.
- Identify and appropriately escalate unresolved matters.
- Take ownership of customer needs and deliver accurate, professional service.

What we’re looking for

- Fluency in both French and English is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- College or University education, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work across multiple systems.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.




- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to take ownership, show initiative and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and work with a sense of urgency.
- Reliable high-speed internet suitable for remote work.

Schedule

Candidates must be available to work 40 hours per week within the following operating hours:

- Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Atlantic Time
- Saturdays: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Atlantic Time, on rotation
