Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports day-to-day accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records while collaborating with colleagues across the business.
The ideal candidate is a confident AR professional who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, works independently, and can effectively investigate and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:
Process customer invoices and verify billing accuracy and documentation.
Apply payments, post cash receipts, and maintain accurate customer accounts.
Review account activity, identify discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues.
Prepare credit notes, invoice adjustments, and account reconciliations.
Follow up on overdue balances and support collection activities.
Code transactions to the general ledger and support accurate financial reporting.
Use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Excel to manage receivables and maintain records.
Support the finance team with various tasks and shifting priorities.

Experience managing the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations.
Knowledge of invoice adjustments, credit notes, and general ledger coding.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate accounting or accounts receivable experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, tracking, and reconciliations.




Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is an asset.
Ability to identify tax-related issues and escalate them to the appropriate experts.
