Who You Are

You are a proactive, detail-oriented qualified who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities while supporting successful project delivery. You are equally comfortable working with internal teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors,



and suppliers to ensure projects remain organized, efficient, and profitable.

You take initiative, anticipate challenges before they arise, and are motivated by achieving results while maintaining strong working relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the planning, coordination, administration, and successful execution of construction projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate and administer construction projects from initiation through to completion.
- Prepare, submit, and track permits, approvals, and required project documentation.
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, contracts, proposals, and related documentation.
- Assist with project estimating and quantity take-offs, utilizing building plans and site drawings.
- Source, evaluate, and coordinate vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and track project inventory, equipment, and material requirements.
- Provide billing and invoicing support, including project cost tracking.
- Coordinate tender invitations, receive submissions, and assist with bid evaluations.
- Monitor project schedules and assist with maintaining key project milestones and deadlines.
- Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Procure materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements and schedules.
- Provide administrative support to project teams and management as required.
- Communicate client expectations and project requirements to internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers; proactively identify and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Site Supervisors and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Support project profitability through effective cost control, planning, and resource management.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and the overall success of the organization.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience within the construction industry, with knowledge of general contracting and construction management practices.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to effectively coordinate projects, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
- Working knowledge of multiple construction trade disciplines.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, estimating principles, and project documentation.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of market conditions and industry trends.
- Ability to identify and assess risks associated with contracts, project scope, and construction activities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and capable of building positive working relationships with a diverse range of clients, consultants, subcontractors, and team members.




- Proven ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.
- Demonstrated patience, perseverance, and adaptability in a energetic work environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
