Opening Opportunity – Server / Bartender

Leuty’s on Queen is a new restaurant opening in Toronto’s Beaches, built on a simple philosophy:

Good food. Good service. Good people.

We’re creating an elevated, approachable neighbourhood dining experience: polished but not pretentious– with a strong focus on genuine hospitality, consistency, and team culture.

We’re looking for experienced Servers and Bartenders to join our opening team and help bring this vision to life.

The Role

This is a hands-on hospitality role for someone who takes pride in making people feel welcome.

You’ll be part of building the guest experience from the ground up– from opening-day standards and service rhythms to the warm, familiar atmosphere we want Leuty’s to be known for.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Providing warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service
- Creating a welcoming experience for every guest
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders
- Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages
- Learning the menu and confidently answering guest questions
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas
- Processing payments accurately and responsibly
- Following all food-safety and responsible alcohol-service requirements
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar, and management teams
- Supporting opening and closing duties
- Contributing to a respectful, dependable, and positive team culture

- Calm and organized during busy services
- Knowledgeable—or eager to learn—about food, wine, beer, and cocktails




- Attentive to details without losing sight of the overall guest experience
- Comfortable taking initiative and helping wherever needed
- Excited by the opportunity to join a new restaurant from the beginning

Experience and Qualifications

- Previous serving or bartending experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Valid Smart Serve certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain on your feet and carry trays or supplies throughout a busy shift
- Bartending and cocktail experience is an asset
