Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable private home. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be able to work independently, and understand the importance of respecting the family's home, belongings, and privacy.

This role involves routine household cleaning as well as occasional deeper cleaning and household tasks to ensure the home remains consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

- Perform general household cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, and floors.

- Clean the kitchen, including countertops, sinks, stovetops, appliance exteriors, cabinet surfaces, and other frequently used areas.

- Clean and tidy bedrooms, living areas, dining areas, hallways, and other household spaces.

- Change bed linens and make beds as required.

- Empty household garbage and recycling and replace liners.

- Maintain general organization and tidiness throughout the home.

- Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks, such as cleaning the refrigerator, inside cabinets, baseboards, windows, or other areas as requested.

- Handle household belongings, furniture, and surfaces carefully and respectfully.

- Identify and report any damage, maintenance concerns, or household supplies that need replenishing.

- Follow household instructions regarding cleaning products,



equipment, and preferred cleaning methods.

- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding the household and family at all times.

- Complete assigned duties efficiently within the scheduled shift.

Requirements

- Previous housekeeping, residential cleaning, or professional cleaning experience is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.

- Trustworthy and respectful of the family's privacy and personal belongings.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Good communication skills and willingness to follow household instructions and preferences.

- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products and techniques for different household surfaces.

- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, reaching, lifting, vacuuming, and mopping for extended periods.

- Comfortable working in an occupied private residence.

- Willingness to complete occasional deep-cleaning and additional household tasks when required.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
