Basement Systems Edmonton is currently accepting resumes for the position of Lead Hand/Foreman. We are a locally owned and operated company looking to expand our workforce. Basement Systems Edmonton is Basement Systems, Inc.'s certified basement waterproofing and crawl space repair contractor servicing Central to Northern Alberta. This includes Edmonton, Camrose, Lloydminster, Wetaskiwin, Grande Prairie, Viking, Boyle, Mayerthorpe, Leduc, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and the surrounding areas.

Applicants must be physically capable of performing manual labour.

Job Duties:

- Install waterproofing systems
- Perform structural foundation repairs
- Operating small equipment/tools such as jackhammers, hammer drills etc.
- Concrete finishing
- Sump pump installation and piping
- Polyurethane injections
- Maintain and follow health and safety guidelines
- Meet deadlines in an efficient and protected manner
- Communicate and maintain expectations with each customer
- Plan ahead to make sure required materials are on site

Skillset: * We are looking for a hardworking and personable individual.

- It is important that you are someone who is capable of training future staff members.




- Must have good communication skills, as communicating and educating our customers is part of our mission at Basement Systems Edmonton.
- Previous construction experience is required.

Other Requirements: * Candidates with a valid passport preferred as we attend training sessions in the United States.

- Class 5 drivers license required. Must provide a clear driver’s abstract.
- May require employees to complete a Criminal Record Check.

Wage: negotiable

Status: full-time employment

Position available: immediately

Hours: 40 + per week, weekend work is available, some out of town work may be required. Note: travel includes paid transportation with company vehicles, accommodations, per diem and meals when applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
