About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading player in the Oil & Gas industry, focused on executing large-scale brownfield modification projects across operational facilities. The role of I&E; Engineer exists to support engineering, design, project execution, commissioning, and startup activities, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery aligned with operational standards. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment offering the chance to work on multiple active projects that directly impact facility performance and reliability.

You will be part of an integrated team supporting a variety of capital projects, with the opportunity to make an immediate and tangible impact. The role offers hybrid work arrangements, with two weeks on-site in Greeley, Colorado, and two weeks working from home, plus long-term project prospects and a supportive culture committed to safety and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

- Design, select, install, and modify electrical power, instrumentation, and automation systems for Oil & Gas facilities
- Develop engineering deliverables including control philosophies, P&IDs;, cause & effect diagrams, and load analyses
- Support vendor package reviews, safety assessments, and project scheduling activities
- Lead or assist commissioning and startup activities to ensure smooth project handovers
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Construction teams to support field execution safely and effectively
- Manage multiple concurrent projects independently,



driving schedules and stakeholder communication

What You Bring

- 5-10 years of instrumentation and electrical engineering experience in Oil & Gas, preferably upstream facilities
- Proven experience in brownfield project delivery, including design, commissioning, and startup in operating facilities
- Strong background in electrical power systems (minimum 480V, with up to 25kV experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) processes and safety standards such as arc flash, coordination, and motor studies
- Proficiency with PLC/SCADA systems, HMI platforms, and power system analysis software
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and coordinate across stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; P.Eng. is preferred but not required

Compensation
The estimated base pay rate for this position is CAD $115 to CAD $135 per hour as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
