- Support with medication administration according to care plans, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, encouraging healthy eating habits.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversations or activities that promote mental stimulation.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary,



using proper safety protocols.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly preferred.
- Robust background in patient care, senior care, hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and managing behavioral challenges associated with cognitive decline.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility needs.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities.
- Capable of meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Valid certifications in medication administration or relevant healthcare training are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
