Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences
- Provide detailed product information, including effects, dosages, and consumption methods, ensuring customer understanding and satisfaction
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store is clean, welcoming, and compliant with all regulations
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items to enhance customer experience and sales volume
- Handle heavy lifting of product boxes and supplies safely while adhering to safety protocols




- Document transactions and customer interactions meticulously using computer operation skills and Microsoft Office tools when necessary

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service environments with strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for cash handling accuracy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, inventory management, and merchandising tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications like Excel for record keeping is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide customers confidently and work collaboratively within a team
- Multilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse community needs

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
