We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Language Instructor specializing in TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français) and TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) preparation. In this role, you will empower students to achieve their language proficiency goals through engaging, targeted instruction. Duties
- Design and deliver comprehensive lessons tailored to TEF/TCF exam requirements, focusing on all language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Conduct engaging tutoring sessions that motivate students and build their confidence in French language use
- Assess student progress regularly through practice tests and provide constructive feedback to guide improvement
- Develop customized study plans that align with individual learning styles and exam goals
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports
- Create and adapt instructional materials to ensure clarity,
relevance, and effectiveness in exam preparation
- Foster an encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and linguistic growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching French as a second language, with a focus on TEF/TCF exam preparation
- Strong tutoring and classroom teaching skills with the ability to adapt to diverse learner needs
- Excellent written communication skills for creating instructional content and providing feedback
- Demonstrated ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment
- Prior classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential
- Fluency in French with a thorough understanding of exam formats, requirements, and scoring criteria
