Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Full-Time / Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in a permanent capacity. Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, you will support daily dispensary operations, provide exceptional frontline customer service, and ensure accurate prescription data entry.

Key Responsibilities

- Prescription Entry: Accurately input patient data, third-party insurance billing, and prescription information into the Fillware pharmacy software.
- Dispensary Support: Assist the pharmacist by counting medications, preparing labels, and packaging prescriptions with high attention to detail.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, answer phone calls, process cash register transactions, and direct all clinical questions to the Pharmacist.
- Inventory Control: Receive daily stock orders, check for expired medications, and maintain a clean, organized dispensary.





Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma required; Pharmacy Assistant certificate is an asset.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience using Fillware software is highly valued.
- Skills: Excellent communication, basic math skills for counting, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
