The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a full-time experienced Parts Shipper and Receiver for our Dearborn Ford dealership in Kamloops, British Columbia location.

In the position of Parts Shipper and Receiver reporting to the Parts Operations Manager and Parts Administration Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing parts and materials. This role plays a key part in supporting the parts and service departments by ensuring timely shipping, receiving, organization, and documentation of parts. It includes coordination with internal departments and external vendors while maintaining proper inventory controls and a secure, organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving Operations

- Physically move, pack, and unpack incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
- Determine appropriate shipping methods and prepare necessary documents including bills of lading, customs forms,



invoices, and internal shipping records.
- Assemble containers, crates, and packaging for outgoing parts and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of parts and materials from trucks or other delivery vehicles.
- Inspect incoming goods and verify accuracy against invoices or packing slips; reject or report damaged or missing items.

Inventory Management & Warehouse Support

- Unpack, sort, label, and route incoming parts and materials to appropriate storage locations.
- Maintain accurate manual and electronic records of inventory movement and shipments.
- Assist in tracking, organizing, and maintaining shipping materials and stock supplies.
- Participate in cycle counts and stocktaking efforts as directed.

Equipment Operation & Material Handling

- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment to move and store goods.
- Follow all dealership and safety policies related to equipment use, materials handling, and hazardous materials.

Cross Department & Customer Support

- Work closely with parts counter staff, drivers, and delivery vendors to support timely fulfillment of parts requests.




- Receive unsold or returned goods and document items properly.
- Provide courteous and timely service to internal departments including service, sales, and body shop teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficiency of the parts department.

Requirements:

- Minimum one year of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience; dealership experience preferred.
- Valid Class driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract.
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay Rate: Min: $23.99 per hour

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm

Total Hours Per Week: 40 hours
