e are seeking an experienced Application Solution Architecture professional to support the design, evolution, and integration of business and technology solutions within a complex and evolving environment.

I

n this role, you will play a strategic part in defining technology directions, aligning solutions with business objectives, and producing the required architecture deliverables. You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical teams to ensure solution consistency, scalability, and quality.

R

esponsibilities: I

- dentify and document the business capabilities required to address business needs.
D
- etermine the applications and services involved in proposed solutions and assess impacts related to coexistence, dependencies, performance, and security.
D
- efine technology orientations supporting the selected solutions.
P
- roduce solution architecture deliverables, including non-functional requirements coverage.
D
- ocument and communicate solution designs using architecture models and diagrams, preferably with Archimate.
S
- upport teams during detailed design and solution integration activities.
D
- evelop transition, coexistence, conversion, and decommissioning strategies.
C
- ommunicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
E
- nsure compliance with enterprise standards, governance, and architectural guidelines.
C
- ontribute to modern architectures leveraging microservices, event-driven patterns, API-First design, and continuous integration.
A
- ssess application components, services, APIs, modules,



and dependencies from both functional and technical perspectives.
I
- nfluence solution design decisions through architecture best practices, patterns, and design considerations.

- romote software quality principles including testability, observability, performance, maintainability, and application security.
D
- efine and enforce development best practices related to the Guidewire Cloud platform.
M
- entor development teams and serve as a technical reference for Guidewire solutions.
A
- ct as a subject matter expert for architecture and Guidewire-related topics.
Q

ualifications and Experience: B

- achelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
M
- inimum of 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture or a related role.
M
- inimum of 5 years of experience working with the Guidewire suite.
S
- ignificant experience delivering solution architecture within project environments.
S
- trong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and Archimate notation.
E
- xperience with system integration through APIs, Web Services, and event-driven architectures.
U
- nderstanding of deployment models across on-premises and cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CaaS).
E
- xperience with microservices architecture.
S
- trong expertise with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
K




- nowledge of Guidewire APIs.
K
- nowledge of Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD) is considered an asset.
P
- roficiency with Gosu programming language and Guidewire PCF configuration.
O
- ne or more Guidewire certifications (Associate, Specialist, or ACE) are considered a robust asset.

- xcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- trong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a matrix environment.

- bility to proactively identify and escalate critical issues.
