Environmental Services Assistant

The Environmental Services Assistant contributes to the efficient delivery of support services that meet the expectations of residents, visitors and staff and maximizes the function and life of the Villa’s physical plant. They maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance throughout the facility by performing laundry, housekeeping and assigned maintenance tasks.

Education:

- Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent required.
- Relevant training in housekeeping, environmental services, laundry services, or infection prevention and control is considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping, laundry,



or environmental services experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and staff.
