Purchaser

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and analytical Purchaser to join our team. This position is

responsible for maintaining the right inventory at the right time while building strong supplier relationships

and supporting excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, managing priorities,

and making purchasing decisions based on sales history, inventory levels, lead times, and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

 Review inventory levels and determine purchasing requirements.

 Create and manage purchase orders with suppliers.

 Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels.

 Analyze sales history, demand, inventory movement, and purchasing trends.

 Monitor backorders, shortages, overstock, and slow-moving inventory.

 Work with suppliers to improve pricing, availability, lead times, and service.

 Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and expected delivery dates.

 Maintain accurate product, supplier, cost, and purchasing information.

 Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory efficiency.

 Work closely with sales, warehouse, branch, and management teams to maintain strong product

availability.

 Assist with new product introductions and inventory planning.

 Resolve supplier, pricing, shipping, and product discrepancies.

 Monitor supplier performance and communicate issues when required.

 Experience with Microsoft Excel.

 Experience with purchasing, inventory management, distribution, or supply chain is an asset.
