Job Summary

Description: In need of a full time laborer at a welding and fabrication shop. We specialize in railings, structural steel installations and repairs, farm equipment repairs and more. This is a full time position that is 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Please contact Austin at (phone hidden) or [email protected]

Duties

- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment across job sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, supplies, or assisting with specific tasks as directed
- Operate steel cutting tools such as angle grinders, band saw and Oxy Fuel torches
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting hazards promptly




- Follow detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
- Help with site cleanup at the end of shifts to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace

Requirements

Legally allowed to work in Canada

Must be able to speak English fluently

have a vehicle and a valid G drivers license

1-3 years experience as a laborer in a welding or construction environment

Not needed but preferred:Experience operating a forklift, has some welding experience, Working at heights, elevated work platforms card.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
