Duties
- Safely install holiday lighting fixtures on residential and commercial properties according to design specifications
- Use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to reach high or hard-to-access areas with precision and care
- Secure lights, decorations, and wiring to withstand weather conditions and ensure durability throughout the holiday season
- Troubleshoot lighting issues promptly to maintain a flawless display and perform repairs as needed
- Remove decorations efficiently at the end of the season while minimizing disruption or damage to property
- Collaborate with clients or team members to understand specific decorating requests and ensure satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols including proper use of tools, electrical safety standards, and proper lifting techniques
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail for precise installation and aesthetic presentation
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to lighting installation (training provided if needed)
- Ability to operate ladders, scaffolding, and hand tools safely and effectively
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members or clients effectively
- Reliability with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Prior experience in electrical work, construction, or holiday decorating is a plus but not required
