Dean Group's Manufacturing division is searching for an Electronic Production Assembler for our client in Waterloo.

Our client is a growing technology and advanced manufacturing company specializing in highly technical imaging products. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with small and precise components, and learning specialized manufacturing processes and equipment.

Role: Electronic Production Assembler
Location: Waterloo, ON
Contract Length: Open-ended contract (no end date)
Wage: $20.25/hour + 10% shift premium ($22.28/hour)
Shift: Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:15am

Job Summary
You will support the manufacturing and assembly of highly technical imaging products in a controlled production environment. You will work with small, accurate components and follow detailed work instructions and established procedures to ensure products are assembled accurately and meet quality standards.

This role is well suited to someone who is detail oriented, comfortable with hands on repetitive work, and interested in learning specialized manufacturing processes and equipment. The position will require working in a cleanroom environment and following strict safety, quality, and handling procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform hands on assembly on small components
- Inspect components and completed work for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
- Complete basic testing and verifications as required




- Record production information, test results, and other required documentation accurately.
- Use computer systems to access production information and complete required tasks.
- Follow cleanroom, ESD, safety, and material-handling procedures at all times.
- Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or material discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Post secondary education preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, electronics is an asset
- Previous cleanroom experience
- Experience working with small or precision components is an asset.
- Good hand dexterity and hand eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good problem solving skills and the ability to identify and communicate production issues.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Moderate computer skills, including the ability to learn new software and production systems.
- Experience with SAP or other manufacturing/ERP systems is a strong asset.
- Able to provide up to 5 years of references upon request.
- Candidates may be required to obtain Controlled Goods certification in the future.
