The Greek Tycoon in Whitby is hiring .

This is a Tuesday-Friday position, may require the odd weekend. Shift will be from 6am-12pm.

At our restaurant you will be responsible for all areas of prepared food prep.
Your duties will include:

- Loading trays into ovens (must be able to comfortably lift 40 lbs)

- ability and understanding to follow instructions, you must be able to know when food is properly cooked

- preparation of various foods

- preparation of salads

- excellent and fast knife handling skills

- prepping produce

- assisting chef with preparing meats and seafood

- turning on eqiupemnt, stocking lines

- maintaining a clean environment.

- putting inventory away

- cleaning and santizing the kitchen

- throwing garbage

this is a general labour kitchen position. Those applying must have experience and ability working with food. Must be comfortable and experienced with a knife.

Start time is adaptable between 6-7am





Criminal background check required upon hiring.

You will be working with a wide variety of food, cleaning and maintaining all kitchen equipment, washing dishes and assisting with daily restaurant tasks. You will be working in a busy environment, so we're looking for someone who can complete tasks effectively and learns quickly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
