Job Summary
GRC Document Management Specialist HCLTech is seeking an EDMS & GRC Document Management Specialist to support a client's Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity program. The engagement involves configuring and standing up an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to serve as the official repository for sensitive OT cyber governance documentation. The specialist will also help design the sustainable operational processes that govern ongoing document lifecycle management. This is a generalist governance role — it is not a software development position. The focus is configuration, workflow design, access control setup, and process documentation. Key Responsibilities Configure and organize the client's EDMS platform to host OT cybersecurity governance documentation with appropriate restricted access controls Set up role-based access groups (RBAC) aligned to the client's governance model Define and implement document review, approval, and signature workflows within EDMS Migrate and organize existing documentation from interim platforms (Box/SharePoint) into the EDMS repository Work closely with the client's internal resource (based in Ireland) to execute a defined task list for platform setup Design and document the sustained operational process for ongoing document management once the platform is live Support governance framework activities including policy lifecycle, version control, and audit trail requirements Coordinate with stakeholders across time zones (primarily AMIA) Required Qualifications 4–7 years of experience in GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), quality systems, or document management Hands-on experience with EDMS or quality management platforms (e.g., ETQ, Veeva, MasterControl, OpenText, or similar) Understanding of document control workflows, approval routing, and access management Experience supporting governance programs in regulated or security-sensitive environments Strong process design and documentation skills Ability to work independently under remote management Effective communication skills; comfortable working across time zones Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with OT/ICS cybersecurity governance frameworks (NIST, IEC 62443) Prior experience with SharePoint and/or Box migrations into formal EDMS platforms Experience with RBAC configuration and sensitive data access controls.
