Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll systems and accounting software, ensuring accurate compensation for employees while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Duties

- Process payroll using systems such as Collage, Dayforce and QuickBooks.
- Ensure accurate data entry for employee hours, wages, deductions, and benefits
- Reconcile accounts related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Maintain and update employee records in payroll and HRIS systems
- Prepare reports related to payroll, tax filings, and compliance documentation
- Assist with year-end reporting and audit preparations
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure proper bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Support human resources functions including benefits administration and employee data management




- Conduct analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or areas for process improvement

Experience

- Proven experience working with payroll processing systems such as Dayforce, Workday, ADP, QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to payroll and bookkeeping
- Experience with accounting software including QuickBooks or comparable tools
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management best practices
- Ability to perform account reconciliation and analyze payroll data effectively
- Prior experience in human resources support, insurance or related fields is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

This position is integral to maintaining accurate employee compensation processes while supporting broader financial and HR functions within the organization.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
