Filtervac International is a world-wide leading manufacturer of Oil Purification/Regeneration Systems and other liquid filtration systems and Gas Flares.

The service technician will focus on commissioning and repairing/servicing of filtration systems related to our product line. Some of this service work will happen in the field and some will be required to be done in the field depending on the situation. In addition to this, the service technician will be responsible to do final system testing of new systems prior to the systems being shipped out to the customer.

The successful incumbent will have an exceptional customer-focused mentality, effective communication skills to successfully address the needs & concerns of our customers in a friendly & professional manner.

Education, Knowledge & Skills

- Technical Certification or vocation training in some relevant fields, such as millwright, electrical, PLC controls, fitting/welding etc.
- 2-3 years’ experience in operating, maintaining or repairing industrial oil circulating systems of some kind would be valuable.
- Strong mechanical & technical aptitude
- Ability to use a variety of hand & power tools.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to details and initiative-taking approach to troubleshooting
- Requirement for experience with oil circulating pumps,



vacuum pumps and familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics and instrumentation.
- Must have uncompromising workmanship standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to do some domestic and occasional international travel.
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Must strive to maintain a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends when necessary.

Employer will provide extensive training and expects positive work ethics and independent decision making. Permanent position. The employer will reimburse all the expenses related to the field trip, including fuel, rental vehicle, air-fare, hotel, per-diem.

- This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes and oils.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
