Summary of Position Responsible for implementing, organizing, creating, and running group and individual counseling services in addiction recovery. All areas of addiction are included in this program.
Expected Outcomes Your in-depth understanding of the issues surrounding all forms of addiction, poverty, and mental health issues is provided and utilized as an aid in developing and improving services to meet the needs of the vulnerable sector.
Education Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Social Services, Community Services OR Diploma/Certificate in a related human services field. Combined work experience and education may be considered.
Knowledge and Experience Required • Minimum 3 years in the non-profit sector serving/offering counsel to at-risk individuals.
- Time Management, Life Skills, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, CPR/First Aid, HIFIS, Mental Health First Aid.
- Office 365 Suite; HIFIS preferred
