Busy Bee Tools is looking for a Metalworking Sales Specialist for its new Coquitlam (Vancouver) store. We want someone with hands-on machining or fabrication experience who enjoys discussing tools with customers and turning sound advice into sales. Your experience might come from a machine shop, fabrication shop, technical training, a serious hobby workshop or equipment sales.

**What you will do**

- Help customers select lathes, mills, drill presses, bandsaws, grinders, tooling, measuring tools and accessories suited to the work they need to do.
- Ask useful questions about material, capacity, accuracy, setup and budget; explain product differences honestly and prepare quotes for machinery sales.
- Build relationships with hobbyists, tradespeople, schools and local businesses; follow up on quotes and contribute to store sales goals.
- Support product displays, inventory, online pickups and other store work. Learn enough about woodworking and general tools to help customers outside your main category..

**What you bring**





- Practical experience using metalworking tools or machinery, ideally including manual lathe or milling work, fabrication, maintenance or precision measurement. A machinist credential is an asset, not a requirement.
- Ability to explain technical choices in plain language and a genuine interest in customer-facing sales. Retail experience is preferred but a machinist or fabricator who wants to move into sales is welcome.
- A safety-minded, reliable approach and willingness to learn the product range.
- Forklift certification is an asset

**Schedule :** Five scheduled days per week with two rostered days off. Weekend availability, including Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled, is required. Planned store hours are 9 a.m.– 6 p.m.
