A Licensed Practical Nurse is required to join our highly professional, innovative team as a casual or part time employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing off-site, direct patient care. Daily activities include witnessing OAT medication, administering injections, and patch changes. Our nurses are also tasked with helping patients to achieve their fullest potential, develop healthy lifestyle habits and live their life with purpose and in good health. This is an innovative, clinical and off-site environment where our team members are constantly faced with new challenges and decisions. Most off site travel job requirements will have use of the company car.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and interpret information regarding patient status, deliver and witness medication administration, and work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team setting.
- Communicate with physicians, patients, families,



social workers and other health care professionals.
- Prepare prescriptions and vaccinations for in-clinic and off site administration.
- Prepare and administer medications according to doctor's orders or prescribed protocol.
- Witness patients taking OAT medications.
- Maintain patient records.

Requirements:

- good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- BC drivers license
- injection vaccination certification is an asset
