Summary:
We are searching for a reliable teaching assistant to help Math and Reading of our students at Kumon Marda Loop center. We are looking for candidates interested in working in education - those who enjoy helping children achieve academic success.

Must be punctual, responsible, and have a positive respectful attitude toward students, parents and other staff. Ability to multitask and follow directions. Enjoy working with kids and comfortable working with students. Needs to grade their assignment. All training will be provided.

Job duties would include but are not limited to:

- Helping guide children through the classroom routine and daily assignments.
- Grading Math and Reading assignments.
- Assisting Early Learners with and guiding them through their assignments.
- Checking students into and out of the center.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children.
- Prompt and reliable participation in training sessions.




- Commitment to making a difference in the community and belief that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence.
- Provide Instructor with written or verbal feedback, as needed, based on student observations and/or student performance on worksheets.
- Ensuring Student classwork is completed and corrected to 100%.
- Communicating with students and parents during class-time, addressing student and parental needs, professionally, quickly, and quietly.

Qualifications:

Hired candidates will be trained. Qualified candidates will possess the following characteristics:

- Enjoys, and must be comfortable working with children

- Proficient in Math and Reading a must

- Mature, detailed oriented, reliable, and team player

- Dynamic with positive personality

- Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, and customer service oriented

- Time management. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication skills interacting with students and parents

- Ability to work independently and be proactive in taking on tasks around the Centre

- Previous Kumon student or prior experience working with young children a plus

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
