About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, client-facing SharePoint migration and Microsoft 365 transformation projects. You will oversee delivery from planning through implementation, stabilization, and closure, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while minimizing business disruption.

The ideal candidate brings strong project governance, technical understanding, financial management, and executive communication skills, with experience coordinating multiple workstreams in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SharePoint migration and Microsoft 365 transformation projects from initiation through transition to operations and closure.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource requirements, and dependencies.
- Coordinate migration planning, execution, business readiness, testing, validation, cutover, and acceptance activities.
- Define project scope, deliverables, success measures, governance processes, and stakeholder accountabilities.
- Lead governance meetings, steering committees, executive updates, and go/no-go decisions.
- Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk and issue logs, decision logs, change requests, and cutover plans.
- Serve as the primary project contact for clients, executive sponsors, business owners, technical teams, site owners, and vendors.
- Manage budgets, resource utilization, profitability, and scope changes.
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, security, compliance, and stakeholder readiness risks.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including architects, migration specialists, engineers, business analysts, change management resources, and external partners.
- Support user readiness, adoption, stabilization, and a controlled handover to operations.




- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement within the Project Management Office.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 12 years of project management experience, including 5 years leading complex, client-facing projects or programs across multiple customers.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise technology migrations or Microsoft 365 transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, technical dependencies, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Robust financial and commercial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and margin management.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, change control, testing, cutover, and transition to operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Planner, or equivalent project management tools.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Calgary, Alberta.

Preferred Qualifications

- Direct experience leading large-scale SharePoint migrations in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint on-premises, Microsoft 365, or related content migration projects.
- Experience coordinating migration planning, execution, validation, transition, and stabilization.
- Technical understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 sufficient to guide project discussions, manage dependencies, and communicate risks.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Additional Assets

- Experience in the energy, utilities, or oil and gas sectors.
- Experience with cloud transformation, mergers and acquisitions, or organizational consolidation initiatives.
- Experience delivering large enterprise projects and multi-year programs.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Pay: $62.25-$65.25 per hour
