We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pottery Wheel Instructor to inspire creativity and skill in our community. In this role, you will lead engaging pottery wheel classes, guiding students of all ages and experience levels through the art of ceramics. Duties

- Lead hands-on pottery wheel classes, demonstrating techniques and encouraging students to experiment with clay
- Develop lesson plans tailored to different skill levels, including beginner and advanced students
- Provide personalized feedback and support to help students improve their pottery skills
- Maintain a safe and clean studio environment, ensuring all equipment is properly used and cared for
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes creativity, patience, and confidence
- Assist with setup and breakdown of class materials and tools before and after sessions




- Support special workshops or community events related to ceramics.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children, including classroom or early childhood education settings
- Strong background in pottery techniques, especially working with a pottery wheel
- Excellent tutoring and teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate learners
- Ability to demonstrate patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching diverse groups of people
- Prior classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for arts education is essential
- Must be reliable, organized, and committed to creating an engaging learning environment
