About Deerview Meats

Deerview Meats is a provincially inspected abattoir located southeast of Medicine Hat near Irvine, Alberta. We specialize in the processing of beef, bison, pork, lamb, deer, and wild game. As a AAA-rated meat processing facility, we are committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service.

We are currently seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team. No previous meat processing experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do

Working in a fast-paced meat processing facility, your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting with meat processing and production
- Custom and retail meat cutting
- Kill floor operations
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
- Supporting team members to meet daily production goals
- Contributing to a safe, positive, and professional work environment

What We're Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team




- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 45 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license required

Previous experience in meat processing, food production, agriculture, or manufacturing is considered an asset but is not required.
